Volunteers Needed at the International Book Project

The International Book Project is a great place for high school students to volunteer.  IBP promotes global literacy by sending books to developing countries, where schools and libraries need them most. They also have a small local donations program which ensures the program has an effect on local communities as well. They often need volunteers to help pack, sort, and organize books in a warehouse environment that requires light to moderate physical labor. Students can either contact Saul Kutnicki individually if they are interested in volunteering or arrange a group volunteer day of 7-12 people. The best time to volunteer is after school during the week, since they are only open 9-5 Mon-Fri. However, special accommodations can occasionally be made for groups who wish to volunteer on a Saturday.
