University of Louisville Engineering Expo, March 3rd

 

This year’s University of Louisville’s Engineering Expo is March 3, starting at 8:00 a.m. and going until around 4:00 p.m.  Every year U of L’s Speed School of Engineering puts on this exposition, run by students, to showcase the work our students have been doing, as well as to reach out to K-12 age students to teach them about engineering.

This year’s theme is “Engineering the World of Tomorrow”, and our keynote speaker is Jackie Swisher, an engineer at Walt Disney World.  We are excited to hear Ms. Swisher discuss how Disney has used the principles of engineering to keep up with progress and build tomorrow!

The E-Expo is free for students to attend and is for any student who may have an interest in engineering.  Many of our student societies will have interactive projects for students to experience, there will be a free lunch, and each participant receives a t-shirt designed with this year’s theme.  There will also be lab tours of our facilities for interested students.
